Neely Lyons’ work includes serving as an Executive at the highest levels in all three branches of State government, including when she made history at the age of twenty-five to become the youngest ever elected Mississippi State Senator. Her Senate policy initiatives focused on the convergence of public health and public safety issues, such as drug control, mental health, addiction, domestic violence, and child protection services policies. While achieving professional success, Neely’s family was touched by addiction and mental health issues as well.
