Dr. Arianne Suarez Lago, MD, is a dedicated psychiatrist specializing in adolescent and young adult mental health, with a particular emphasis on eating disorders. She completed her medical education at the Superior Institute of Medical Science in La Habana, Cuba, and furthered her training with a Child and Adolescent Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, after an Adult Psychiatry Residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Dr. Suarez Lago is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and holds medical licenses in Texas and New Mexico. Currently, she serves as an attending psychiatrist at the Eating Recovery Center in The Woodlands, Texas, while also providing online consulting services at Mindcare Solutions. Additionally, she is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Health in Houston, where she engages in teaching and mentoring Child and Adolescent Fellows within a partial hospital setting, facilitating hands-on learning experiences and clinical discussions to enhance their education and practical skills. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time in nature and pursuing photography. Her commitment to patient care and advocacy was recognized with the Shining Star Award for outstanding patient care at Elmhurst Hospital in New York City.
