Diagnosis and Treatment for Adolescents and Young Adults
Diagnosis and Treatment for Adolescents and Young Adults
Comprehensive Care for Your
Unique Circumstances
Our goal at J. Flowers Health Institute is to identify and understand the underlying reasons for behavioral, emotional, academic, social, vocational, and functional challenges that have led to impairment in day-to-day functioning for adolescents and young adults. We seek to understand these issues through the application of scientific, social, medical, and observational strategies. These strategies clarify diagnostic issues and provide new or elaborated information to enhance treatment, academic, vocational, and other types of life planning.
Assessment will be conducted as these young clients engage in a supported community-based setting. Our commitment is to allow teens and young adults time to stabilize. We then conduct a thorough, holistic, comprehensive diagnostic evaluation with them over a few weeks, rather than hours.
